Blog Home
My name is Felissa M. Garcia. I am the Owner and Managing Partner of The Family Law Firm, P.C., and Board Certified Family Law Specialist in New Mexico. I am so glad that you have found our Blog. Stay as long as you like and read all of our Posts. I think you will find them fun and entertaining. Plus if you want to send us a post, you are very welcome to do so at this link: thefamilylawfirm@msn.com. When we receive your post, we will review it immediately and we will be very glad to post your comments.
There's alot going on in this Blog. First is a focus on New Mexico Family Law, Divorce and Custody law. We are talking here about real life Judges, Hearing Officers and cases that will hopefully be informational and educational as well. This Blog also includes a section for discussion about "a day in the life" of a NM divorce attorney. Life as a divorce lawyer is not fun most of the time. We go through things that the average person could not even begin to imagine. The stories we hear from clients are shocking at times.
And then of course, there is my own life. My counselor has told me it is probably one of the most interesting lives she has ever heard of. Lots of people ask lots of questions about me. So I am going to give YOU the details directly. No media. No gossip. Just the truth. How's that? I think that's going to be tough, but I'm ready to do it.
So to recap, this blog is about:
1) NM Divorce and Family Law. We will welcome input from you if you are a litigant going through a divorce or other Family Law case. Tell me if something really good, or strange, happened in your family law case. Tell me about it and I will share it with our other "bloggers". Maybe your story can help another person going through what you're going through now. Post your comments to thefamilylawfirm@msn.com. I would like to hear from you if you are a professional practitioner in psychology or child welfare and any other area having to do with New Mexico Family Law cases. If you are a divorce or family law attorney practicing in New Mexico or in any other State, I would also like to hear from you. I will be talking about various aspects of developing law, how certain cases have progressed for me (with my client's permission, of course, and without using their names). I will also talk about, and I want to hear from you, about your experiences with the Judges in all of the local counties in New Mexico and across the United States. I have no problem looking at comparisons between the Judges of this State and other states.
2) Every day I will tell you about my daily experience as a Divorce and Family Law Attorney here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and about the stresses and joys of having this job.
3) I am also going to share my personal experiences and life with you. So if you don't want to know anything about me, well then just don't read it! I'm fine with that too. Personally, I think this is going to be fun, and very interesting.
I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you. I will talk to you tomorrow and I will also look forward to hearing from you!
