Friday at the Family Law Firm

The best thing about Fridays at our Firm, The Family Law Firm, here in Albuquerque, NM, is that we get to wear jeans, sandals, or whatever casual clothing we want. It is cool. Sometimes I wonder if clients think we always dress like that but then again, they see us in our fancy suits when we go to Court so maybe they don't think that.....

I met with a new client today and also met with an existing client. Probably one of my favorite clients of all time. He is wonderful. And going through such a difficult time. But I wish he could understand that above everything that's happening to him right now, what is most important are his children. He is such a wonderful father to them. His main objective is to protect them and to love them. I know when I was little that my Dad loved me. But he was not so very affectionate and caring. I don't blame him. He had 13 kids to raise and put through school. But seeing this client of mine and how he is with his children is wonderful.

I got to leave early today after I finished most of my work. In the end, I can say that I am one of the most blessed divorce attorneys I know. I have the nicest and best clients a person could ever have. And they trust me with their lives. Imagine that. I cannot tell you how humbled I am by that, and how deeply grateful I am to be able to represent them.

So no posts over the weekend, you know why? Because for the first weekend in a very long time, I'm taking the weekend OFF!!!! So have a great one and I will talk to you again on Monday. Felissa
