Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran

I usually don't keep track of international politics on a daily basis probably because I'm too busy keeping track of my Firm and making sure it is operating at it's best capacity on a daily basis. But how can we now disregard the politics in Iran and the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? The riots are incessant and the deaths there are sorrowful. And now there are angry words between our U.S. President and Iran's President. How does that affect us as New Mexico Divorce practitioners? As a Firm owner, it alerts me that there may be more problems in the economy which may perhaps affect my business and my employees. If you are a lawyer who works for a Firm or for someone else, the same issues apply, will they be able to afford to continue paying you if their business is affected by negative politics?
I have always been particularly frightened by the politics coming from Iran and it seems like we are now engaging more with Iran, even if it is with words and President Ahmadinejad demanding a formal apology from President Obama. I don't like this one bit. So I feel as though I am a powerless witness and bystander, praying to God that our world will continue in peace. Felissa M. Garcia
