Opposing Counsel Milking a Case for Fees

I KNOW you've also had cases where the opposing counsel just keeps on milking a case for fees. I can't stand it but what is there to do? Fire back and do the same thing? So my client, the guy, is the one earning the income and his wife doesn't work, doesn't want to work, doesn't think she has to work, won't work. And my guy, on the other hand, works and works because he was ordered to pay all of the experts' fees in our case, plus pay the Wife $5,000.00 per month. So his wife also keeps charging thousands upon thousands of dollars on the "community" credit card to pay her attorney's fees (which she has now already paid over $50,000.00) and NOTHING real has even happened in the case!!!!! All I can hope for is that at the next (unnecessary) hearing, the Judge hears about this and puts a stop to it! We'll see what happens and for sure I'll give you and update. Have a great day and tomorrow is FRIDAY! Yay! Felissa M. Garcia
