Topic: New Mexico Divorce and Family Law Real Life Cases and Judges
Prior to taking the bench as a New Mexico Family Law Judge, the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Whitefield practiced Family Law in NM for many many many years. She was considered one of the best, if not the best attorney practicing Family Law in New Mexico.
What a relief when Governor Bill Richardson appointed a qualified and experienced Board Certified Family Law Specialist to sit as a Judge in the Albuquerque, Bernalillo County District Family Court Division. Fortunately for those of us who practice exclusively in the area of NM Divorce and Family Law, Judge Whitefield understands what it is like to be lawyer and how hard it is sometimes to practice law and how much we appreciate the Court's cooperation and understanding with some of the dilemmas Familiy Law attorneys face.
Judge Elizabeth Whitefield also has a wonderful, nice and professional staff who assist our employees at The Family Law Firm with questions about hearings, scheduling issues and other important matters that arise. Just like Judge Gerard Lavelle, Judge Elizabeth Whitefield is one of our very favorite Judges, not just because she was or is a nice lady, but because she is tough as a Judge, but more importantly, she is THOROUGH AND FAIR. You can't ask for more than that in a Judge. Felissa M. Garcia
