Another Monday

Today was another Monday. It wasn't very busy for me but I know it was very busy for the other attorneys and staff. I have got to be the most blessed person in the world. I have the MOST awesome staff in the whole legal field. First there's Clarence, who is our Front Desk Expert. People LOVE him. He's scared to death of me and I don't know why because I also love Clarence. He is one of the best, most honest and decent persons I have ever met in my life.

We'll do this in the order the offices are actually located in our Firm. Walking toward the back, we have Jacob Olsen who is our Marketing Director. What's funny about Jacob is that he has the best personality in the world, he's one of the most handsome men in the world, and he's a genuinely good guy. Sorry, girls, Jacob isn't ready to settle down yet but when he does, whoever he settles down with is going to be a very lucky girl. But first she has to get my approval and that won't be easy.

In the next office is Donna Trujillo Dodd. She is an AWESOME attorney. I sometimes wonder how we got so blessed to have her come and work at our Firm. She is a wonderful Mom to her gorgeous kids, Donna is absolutely beautiful, she has a great personality and she's a good person. Since she has come to work with The Family Law Firm, I have gotten all excellent reviews on her from clients and from other attorneys in our field.

Next on the right is Matthew Torres. What can I say about Matt? He's got a killer personality, he's a great lawyer and once again, I feel we are totally blessed to have him in our Firm. Matt is great for our Firm because clients love him, he speaks fluent Spanish and he's pretty darn aggressive in Family Court when he has to be. Matt also does Criminal Law for some of our Family Law clients here in New Mexico when they are in need of those services. Matt also has a beautiful wife and his children are precious and beautiful too.

Next to Matt's office is Cody O'Brien's office. I love Cody. He's the lawyer I always wanted to be when I first started practicing. He is confident, thorough and his temperament is perfect for what we do. He cares about our divorce clients, but he is also able to stay focused, really focused, on the legal issues at hand. I have to tell you also about Cody's family. They are the most wonderful, good people that you'll ever meet. Every time I see them it makes my day complete. They completely take my mind off of the stress of our day to day work and I get to fully focus on what we're talking about. When I first interviewed Cody, he was just getting out of the UNM Law School. Out of all 15 people I interviewed, he took the first spot. There was no question in my mind that I was going to hire him to work at The Family Law Firm.

Well, that's it for the offices on the right side of the l-o-n-g hallway, and tomorrow we'll go through the cool back offices and down the left side of that long hallway. We have a beautiful office. How blessed are we to have what we have? I'll tell you. I said it before - we are the most blessed people on earth. All of it is very much appreciated. We also work hard so it makes it that much better.

Personally, I had another great day, I got up at 4:30, meditated and walked upstairs on the treadclimber. Then I came downstairs and did 10 whole squats with 10 pound weights. I did 5 lunges on each leg and 3 pushups and 15 dumbell curls. All of that, haha, and I was out of breath. But......I'm definitely feeling better and getting back in shape. It's such a hard task but that's ok.

Oh, I almost forgot to comment on the Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston drama of last night's Oscars! I can't even imagine how she must have felt standing there in front of both of them. Imagine that. Angelina Jolie is probably the MOST beautiful woman alive (next to my Mama, of course!) and then her ex, Brad Pitt, the most gorgeous man alive (next to my hubby, of course!) and the two of them sitting in the FRONT row in all of their superstar glory. What a gorgeous couple they make!! Anyway, kudos to Jennifer Aniston who had the strength to get up there and do her job. Even though I am a little jealous of her because she's dating John Mayer! We went to go see him live in Phoenix, Arizona when he performed live this last summer. OMG, he's AMAZING!! My hubby laughs and teases me every time I say John Mayer is "amazing"!

OK, I'm going to get my hair cut. It's way too long for everything I'm trying to do now in terms of being active so I'm gonna cut about three to four inches off. I hope I don't regret it but I will let you know about it tomorrow. Have a safe evening and God bless! Felissa
