Another Monday & Already March!

Topic: My Daily Personal Life, by Felissa M. Garcia

Today was great because we were slow at the office and I let all of the paralegals leave early.  They are so awesome, though, that they all took work home with them.  I love my staff.  They are just the best, what else can I say?

My hubby and I took a drive to Santa Fe and enjoyed the quiet up there for the day.  We went to the Violin Shop of Santa Fe.  We met the owner, his name is Kevin.  What a nice and honest guy.  I can't even believe how nice he was.  I went because I am learning how to play the cello and my old cello had a big crack in it because of the dry weather here in NM.  He said it would be expensive to fix, and I know that because the sound post was down.  So instead of asking him to fix it, he traded out for another cello on his floor and we made an even exchange.  That was really nice of him.  When my Grandson starts playing cello this year (after he turns four), I'm going to go buy his little cello at the Violin Shop of Santa Fe.  Kevin just got a customer for life.  So I played the cello a little bit tonight and my hubby really liked how it sounded.  To me it sounds like screeches, but I promise I'll get better.  Then tonight we went out and washed my car.  That was nice.  I love spending time with my hubby and my kids.  It's really great.

I'm doing better today too.  I've been a little hyper the last few weeks and today I finally feel myself calming down a little bit.  That's good because I need a good balance in my life.  When I'm hyper I also get very aggressive and that's not the direction I want to take my life in.  I am trying to learn more about being peaceful and I even got a nice necklace that has a dove in the center of a ring and it says "Peace" on it.  It's really pretty.  Don't think for a second though that I will be nicer in Court or with my opposing attorneys if they try to take advantage of me or my clients.  That just won't happen.  Ha.

I missed the sunset tonight from my picture window but I saw it when we were driving so that was nice.  I have all the dogs inside right now so they are wanting me to pick them up.  I have 6 dogs.  They are an apricot toy poodle, a long hair chocolate brown teacup Chihuahua, a black short hair teacup Chihuahua, a Newfoundland (she's HUGE), a mixed breed of Rottweiler and German Sheppard (my favorite dog), and now Rocky, another lovable mutt.  They are so cool I wish you could see them.  We are all sitting here in my sitting room and they are watching me blog!  That's funny to see.

Well I'm tired for now, but I want you to read the blog I am going to write next about my paralegal Sandra Tafoya.  She's awesome.  So good night for now and I hope you have a great tomorrow.  Felissa
