Michael Jackson & Moving Houses

I didn't sleep a wink last night I don't know why. I was very sad about Michael Jackson dying and just realizing that we are all going to die some day. It's really scary when you think about it. I'm exhausted but I'm still packing all my clothes and things for our move to our new awesome house. I am trying to sort through things and give things away so I don't have so many things to take with me. It's really tiring so I decided to take a little break to say hello.

I am on vacation until the end of next week but there are still some things I need to do on some cases that I'm working on while I'm on vacation. Hmmm. Why does it seem to always happen that way? When you think about it, though, it's really great to be busy. That means that your clients trusty you and want you to help them in the most personal aspect and dilemma of their lives. Divorce and child custody cases are always really hard for people. It's the same in New Mexico as it is across the United States. We all value our families and belongings and when those things are in jeopardy because of a divorce or child custody case, it's always a difficult time. I know because I went through the same thing myself many many years ago, including an awful custody case with my ex-husband (who I still can't stand) and then a divorce pretty recently, a few years ago. Although my divorce wasn't so bad because we are both divorce lawyers so we made sure not to let our divorce get as bad as they can get!

Well, I should get back to packing. The thunder is booming outside. How beautiful. My favorite weather is rainy, stormy weather with the thunder booming. It is rare here in NM so when it happens I enjoy it as much as I can. Oh, PooPoo's vet appointment went very well this morning. The only bad thing is that the vet is going to have to take a few teeth out of her mouth so she won't get sick like Coco got. I still miss Coco so much I can't even tell you how much it still hurts. She got her shots and she's sleeping a lot today.

I hope you have a nice Friday and I'll try to talk again this weekend. Have a safe and fun day, o.k.? Felissa M. Garcia
