LeBron James NBA Playoffs

LeBron James is a dream. Not only is he gorgeous, tall, successful, and rich, but the best part of him is that he seems to be just a really nice and sweet guy. I am crushing really hard on him just like everybody else is. He is the most talented, most handsome man on the NBA Playoff courts and I'm watching and paying attention more to the NBA this year just because of LeBron James. Funny thing is he was born the same year I graduated from high school! Wow, that makes me feel really old. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to have a healthy crush on a guy now and then.

But of course he doesn't compare to the love of my life, Ronnie. Now this guy is the MOST handsome and loving man in the world. He's downstairs painting our living room with the cool colors I picked. We're going to have a small gathering for Zoya's graduation from La Cueva High School so we need to get the house in tip-top shape. Zoya just spent the weekend at Stanford University in California. They hosted a weekend there for the students who have been admitted to Stanford. She went alone because we wanted to see how she would do on her own. She called me a couple of times crying because she was home sick. I miss her too so so much. The great thing is that she's coming home today and we get to pick her up at the airport at 4. I'm excited to see her. She had a hard time being away from home and she even said that she wanted to go to UNM, but I am sure that when she gets home and realizes the opportunity she has to go to Stanford, she will end up going to Stanford. I'm amazed that she has her whole life ahead of her and she's starting off on the right path for her. We all have our own life path to follow. I have certain regrets about things I did, or did not do, but overall I'm just happy where I am. Practicing New Mexico Family Law and having a family is a great set of circumstances, I'm sure. Having my own Firm, The Family Law Firm and the best staff in the world makes it just about perfect.

I'm also just plain proud of all of my kids. Natasha is married now (I think I mentioned that before) and she has a son, my favorite boy in the whole world, of course. And Kat is doing so well in school. Tasha finishes her second year at UNM while raising her son and is also doing really well in school. Having three kids is something I never expected from my life but that's the path I was meant to take. I don't know why God puts us here yet, or what He has in store for us, so I'll just go along for the ride and do the best I can while I'm here.

I exercised today so that's a good thing since yesterday I felt like I never wanted to exercise again. It's just that sometimes when you're trying to get back in shape, you get discouraged because you want it to happen overnight. That's how I am anyway. So I'm really proud of myself that I got up the energy to exercise. I have a Treadclimber from Bowflex that gives me a really good workout. I just wanted to let you know that since yesterday I was practically begging for support!

I'm going to study some more of my books today again and then pick up Zoya from the airport. Who knows what we'll do after that. Oh, by the way, we watched Slumdog Millionare. WOW. That was one of the best movies I have seen in my whole life. I was completely attentive to it because it was so good. You should see it if you haven't already. See you soon.  Felissa M. Garcia
