Topic: My Daily Personal Life, by Felissa M. Garcia

Well hello again!  It has been such a long time since my last confession...I mean my last post. Strangely and wonderfully, 2010 has brought with it a whole range of good and bad.

It's the way it should be, right?  If everything could be good all the time there would be no challenges to overcome and no victory over bad situations. But sometimes it would be nice to have a little less stress just for a little while. That is one of the challenges of managing a larger Law Firm in Albuquerque. We all thoroughly enjoy what we do and we love our clients. Since we practice primarily in the area of NM Family Law, it is very challenging and sometimes emotional.

I could go on and on with respect to what's going on in my personal life. I started walking last week so I could get back on a running program and then on Saturday I went to the doctor and they did a chest x ray and told me that I have pneumonia! I was shocked. So I'm staying home today and missing everybody at work. I gained a lot of weight over the holidays and I really need to start losing it because I am very unhealthy right now with all this extra weight. So I'll start with the walking again as soon as I'm feeling better and then I think I'm going to go on the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. Have you heard about that diet? It's really a neat diet because every day for one hour you can basically eat whatever you want so long as you stuck to the diet the rest of the day. I can do that!

Also, my newest granddaughter was born last Tuesday. She is beautiful and so tiny. She has blue eyes and she has the prettiest face. I love her very much and she looks so much like my grandson Anthony. We were truly blessed.

Well, I hope I feel better tomorrow so I can get back to the office. I hope your 2010 has been good to you so far. Felissa M. Garcia
